Welcome to the Pilot Club of Danville, Inc's website. The Pilot Club of Danville,
Inc. was chartered in 1956. We are part of a wonderful organization, Pilot International and the Pilot International
Foundation. Our club is a wonderful local service organization with projects
involving Christian Training for the Retarded (CTR), Roman Eagle Nursing Home, the Alzheimer’s Association, Pilot Pups
and Project LifeSaver. We also give baskets of goodies to the area City Departments
at Valentines to thank them for all their hard work and dedication. We periodically
collect and give items to DOVES. As you can see, we may be a small club, but we have a big heart and keep busy fulfilling
it. Hopefully, this information sheet, along with your new member packet and
club yearbook, will help to guide you and answer any questions you may have about our club, the Virginia district, and Pilot
International.
Our club meetings are held
the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM. It is a dinner meeting usually
with a speaker or program and a business meeting, usually lasting approximately two hours.
Our main fundraiser is our annual Bazaar. It is usually held the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Sacred Heart School. We also have several car washes throughout
the year which help us in providing services to our community projects.
